When arriving, you will land at Marsa Alam International Airport. The airport does not have air bridges and you can expect 30 degrees Celsius as soon as you leave the plane. Once you have cleared immigration, you will pass customs. Once you have cleared customs, one of our drivers will be waiting with a Lagoon View signboard. Your transfer will take approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes. When checking in, we will need your passport and if the accommodation expenses have not been prepaid, we kindly request you to settle within 24 hours of your arrival. If you have booked via an online travel agent, please ensure that you advise us of your reservation details.
Check-in time is 14:00. Early check-in can be arranged subject to availability for arrivals after 09:00. There are times when this is not possible as the outgoing guests are checking out at 12:00 but we will certainly do our best to have your room ready as soon as possible. A shower room and waiting lounge is available.
Checkout time is at 12:00. Late checkouts are subject to availability and can be confirmed the day prior to your departure. Late checkout fees apply. Lagoon View provides a shower room and storage space if you would like to make the most of your day. Marsa Alam airport recommends being at the airport 3 hours prior to your flight departure.

The Egyptian currency is the Egyptian Pound. Euro is the most commonly used foreign currency at Lagoon View Hotels. Money can be officially changed from Euro to Egyptian Pound at theATM machine placed in Dream Lagoon Lobby Area or at themajor commercial banks in Marsa Alam.
Please note that we accept cash payments in Euro, US Dollars and Egyptian Pound, however any change will be returned in US Dollars or Euro. Also accepted are Visa and MasterCard.
The reality is that with any holiday, we should all strongly consider Travel Insurance.
Lagoon View resort has good facilities for children aged from 4 to under 13 years old. It is important to respect the enjoyment of all guests and we request that children in restaurants and bars are to maintain a relaxed and peaceful behavior.

Casual clothing is normal in Egypt. Lightweight cotton and linen clothes are recommended. Items for ladies would be sundresses, kaftans, light shirts, sarongs & skirts. If you plan to visit a local area, it is advisable to have your thighs and shoulders covered if visiting the inhabited local surround. For the men, light cotton shirts, shorts, pants, board shorts and some light and comfortable smart casual for evening wear.
Arabic is the language spoken in all parts of Egypt. English is widely spoken by Egyptian. Lagoon View has staff with alternative language abilities.
